Saturday, May 03, 2008, Damn freaking hot afternoon
2 yrs coming up, i'm completing my NS soon already. Can't believe it, it seems like i was only enlisted couple months back only. But no matter wad, i am happy enuff that i get to escape all the driving and doing of shitty stuff which has nothing to do with me. 07 June will be the day i regain my freedom from the government "for awhile"...haix but it's better den nothing.
Lets see if i got other things to update,
Oh ya, Ying passed her driving yesterday, i went down to BBTC to surprise her, her test was at 4.30pm, so i reached BBTC bout 4.35pm, but i couldn't find the car she was driving in the circuit...so i gave up, just waited for her car to arrive back at the ending point. Finally bout 15 mins or so, i saw the car coming back. The tester had a very stern face, like no expressions kind,as for ying, she looked kinda stressed, she even pinned up her hair so dat it wun drop down and block her view while driving, haha dat's my girl...they went to Level 2 where the tester will evaluate the driver, and determine if u pass or fail. So i waited for another 5 mins or so, i went up to Level 2 to find her, i saw her once i got to Level 2, she was talking to another guy, i tot i wasn't the only one dat came down to surprise her, haha but after that i realized that he was one of the driver that went for TP that day. I was just looking at her from far, dunno whether to go up to her or not, so i just stood there and lean against the wall looking at her. It didn't took her long to realized that there was someone staring at her, so she looked up, to her surprised she saw me. She immediately ran towards me and started screaming and shouting at me, asking why i was here and she finally passed her driving test. As i told her last nite, it was a pity i didnt have my camera with me, if not i can take down the whole thing, it was quite a touching scene i find, very true and not like some fake ppl ... So i stayed with her till she got all her documents done, she suggested we go for dinner outside as mumy didnt cook, she insisted that dinner should be on her, so i just nod my head and say "ok la"... Went back to redhill market to buy takeaway dinner for her mummy first, den went up to her place and visited the mother, was kinda long since i last saw her liao...waited for ying to bath and changed we headed out for dinner in like 20-25 mins. She felt like eating Japanese Food for dinner, so i suggested the Waraku Restaurant, the one we saw the other time before goin to Manhatten FishMarket, the things are kinda affordable as well. When we got there, there was a long que, saw Edwin there as well, had a little chat with him and waited bout 15 mins for our table. Ying ordered a curry udon, and i ordered a curry don, both "regular" size, how big do u think is the REGULAR? i tot was damn small, becuz the only choice we had was "Mini" or "Regular" haha like wad the hell rite? Anyway we were quite shocked when the food arrived, the portion was very big, the side dishes were damn nice too, all the raw items were vry fresh. Enjoyed the dinner there, but shared the experience with da ge they all, they all said that the restaurant sucks leh...i wonder why? Guess it doesn't matter, as long as Ying and i like to dine there is good enough...haha so i wonder when next month we goin again? lol
